The concept and characteristics of double wall cloth

The double-wall fabric is composed of two fabric layers interwoven with pile yarns. The pile yarn creates a firm connection between the two layers and is made of industrial polyester yarn. Double wall cloth is PVC, TPU, rubber and other coated base cloth. The coated cloth can be used to fill air, gas, gel, liquid, etc.

The structure of double wall cloth is a new concept. The fabric surfaces are connected to each other by vertical pile fibers. Basically, it is a fine polyester thread woven into tons at the bottom of the substrate to ensure that when the thread reaches its maximum length, it does not over-expand.

They have many characteristics: high tensile strength, high rigidity, can withstand high pressure, excellent high stress distribution, durable and anti-ultraviolet and air-tight coating.

Double-wall fabrics can provide good skin-core debonding ability, excellent durability and excellent integrity. In addition, the interstitial space of the building can be filled with foam to provide coordinated support with the vertical piles. Double wall fabrics are widely used for inflatable SUP, boat bottoms and mattresses.
